When Meta's agent is enough
If you run a small shop from the WhatsApp Business app, answer mostly simple questions, and all your sales happen inside Meta's apps, Meta Business Agent is a sensible place to start. It answers questions, recommends products from the catalogue you upload, books appointments and hands off to a person when it gets stuck.
It learns from your past chats, your business profile and your product catalogue. That works well when your catalogue is small and doesn't change much.
When you need Zandolie
Your stock changes every day. Zandolie checks price and availability in your own inventory system at the moment a customer asks, per branch, so it never sells something that's out of stock.

What about cost?
Meta has said its agent will be included in some tiers of the WhatsApp Business app's Premium subscription. For businesses on the WhatsApp Business API, Meta Business Agent replies have been charged per token since 1 August 2026. From 1 October 2026, Meta also charges for service messages sent inside the 24-hour customer service window. In practice, almost every business reply on WhatsApp now carries a Meta fee, whichever agent sends it.
